Flight Engineer [Hastings]

If you flew as an Air Engineer on Hastings why not share your experiences

I've just discovered this forum and I'll be pleased to share my experiences as a Flight Engineer with Transport Command where I got to see a lot of the world at the Queens expense.

After training at St Athan I was posted to 511 Squadron at RAF Lyneham. I've sent John Cooper some information that I believe he'll be posting on the forum.

I've lived in Australia since 1959 and have a website at: www.caravanning-oz.com.

It would be great if any of the aircrew members I flew with posted here. It was a long time ago but the memories are still there.

Lionel

There are others and when I come across those names I will post them here
