TG580 crashed on Gan on 3rd July 1959, thankfully only minor injuries were sustained. The aircraft of 48 Squadron landed in a crosswind exceeding 23 knots, the aircrafts port oleo buckled and the aircraft groundlooped

TG564 Crashed on landing and caught fire at RAF Kai Tak 27/07/1953 this aircraft was on the strength of 53 Squadron at the time of the crash when it hit a hut, sadly one person on the ground was killed in this incident. By kind permission S/Ldr Harry Liddell
