1974 saw the introduction of 230 OCU at Scampton for three years, generally known as Hastings RADAR Flight it was more commonly known as '1066' Squadron and was used to train crews converting to AVRO Vulcan aircraft

The OCU was wound up on 30th June 1977 and were the last 4 Hastings in service
