On Friday July 3rd 1964 TG606 passed through El Adem, three propellor spinner plates were found to be cracked so off they came along with the props, new spinner plates added followed by the existing props, with others, I started this job at 0900hrs and finished at 1700hrs, only mad dogs and Englishmen worked out in the noon day sun!
