1953 Two Hastings were seconded to The Marshall Islands in the Pacific in 1953, this operation was codenamed Express Delivery, was anyone involved or who might know the RAF's involvement with the USA Nuclear Tests?

The late Les Bywaters informed me a few years back thus:

EXPRESS DELIVERY was the task of ferrying the air filtered samples from USAF Base Kwajelein to Darwin. EXPRESS DELIVERY was carried out by two RAF Hastings (which also served to keep a steady supply of spares, supplies, etc for the DOGSTAR Canberras at Kwajelein).
