The order in which the aircraft were lined up was, L to R viewed facing the aircraft nose C2 WJ327, C1 TG560, then four Shackletons, four Washingtons, Lincolns, Neptunes, then next came C2 WJ337, C4 WD500 and lastly two MET1s TG621/A-B and TG622/C-A.
Flypast
Three aircraft from RAF Lyneham formed element number 22 in the formation flypast, maintaining a speed of 195mph., the aircraft involved were WD486/Y WJ331/GAX and WD481.
Also WD475/G overflew and then headed for Lyneham with 32 casualties from Korea.
Also Present on the airfield was Met 1 of 202Sq TG567 it had completed an Atlantic weather sortie, piloted by Wg Cdr S.R.Ubee.
