Hastings TG531


06041955 TG531 1.15 hrs/mins Two Jeeps dropped from an underslung fuselage beam over Watchfield from Lyneham, I recall the lifting up of the Hastings when the Jeeps were dropped, there is an example of the beam/Jeep in the AirSpace hangar at Duxford [ATC Cadet]

14041955 TG531 1.30 hrs/mins Cross Country to Devon & Coast from Lyneham [ATC Cadet]

06071955 TG531 0.10 hrs/mins Hydraulics U/S on take off Return/To Lyneham [ATC Cadet]

16121958 TG531 7.45 hrs/mins Changi to Katunayake to my new posting [the proper RAF]

This was the only time I had 4 trips in the same Hastings aircraft

I note from the list of Hastings crashes that there is one missing!
My father crashed on landing at Hong Kong...Log entry 28th July 1954 Hastings No.531, brake failure on landing pranged.
My father was Sqd/Ldr 511 sqd. RAF Lyneham 1952-55
